Rev Phil Waugh - Senior Pastor
Philip has pastored here since Jan 2014. He is never happier than when there is an opportunity to teach or discuss some insight from the Bible. He is married to Karen and admits that without her very little would get done. In heaven he plans to do much more golfing, cycling and motor sport. His vision is for the Christian communities in the mountains to become renowned for their passionate discipleship of Jesus.
Rev Noel Wraight - Associate Pastor Youth & Young Adults
Noel joined the team at SBC in August 2014. He has found no greater riches than those found in a life lived for Jesus and it is Noel’s passion to serve other people in order that they too discover this abundance. As well as Jesus, Noel’s life has been enriched by his wife Lynnie and their 4 energetic boys, who all share their father’s love of sport. When time permits you will find Noel somewhere in the great outdoors taking in the sights or enduring some new challenge.
Lynnie Wraight - Associate Pastor Families
Lynnie joined the team @ SBC in 2015. She heads up the CollectEve team and morning ministries teams. Lynnie loves doing life in relationships, values authentic/transparent living and lots of coffee. Her passion is inspired by Ephesians 3:16-21, to see everyone continue to be furthering a deeper understanding and experience of God's love and power through the Holy Spirit.
Lynnie is married to Noel, has 4 handsome lads and enjoys running and drawing on her chalkboard wall in her moments alone.
Peter Melbourne - Associate Pastor Pastoral Care
Peter Melbourne has been a member of the church for 26 years. His career has transitioned from building and maintaining infrastructure as a civil engineer to his real passion of making and building disciples as a pastoral carer. Married with four adult daughters, Peter is a keen sailor and cyclist with a wide range of other interests that would fill a few lifetimes.
Kellie Selwood - Associate Pastor Children
Kellie has been involved in youth and children's ministry at Springwood Baptist for over 10 years and begins her role as Children's Ministry Coordinator in 2014. Kellie is passionate about Jesus and His work in this world. Nothing excites her more than seeing followers of Him radically living out their faith. It is her joy to experience and share the new life found in Jesus and she sees it as a great privilege to partner with God and families as they encourage children to choose and continue a lifelong walk with Him.

Annie Lindsay - Associate Pastor Youth
Annie has been attending Springwood Baptist since the age of 13 when she first joined the youth group. She has been involved in youth ministry at this church and in the wider community for a number of years and became part of the staff team at the beginning of 2014. Annie is passionate about Jesus and loves nothing more than seeing young people meet and become whole hearted, all in disciples of their king. It is an incredible gift to be able to walk with teens through the hard years where they are forming their sense of self and help put Jesus in that picture. Best. Job. Ever! Annie also works two days as an SRE teacher at both Springwood and Winmalee High Schools.
Ian Fuller - Administration Manager
Ian & Margaret have worshiped at SBC since 1999 where Ian has served in a number of roles within the church prior to his appointment as Administration Manager, these included Boys Brigade leader, Deacon and Treasurer and has lead a bible study group since 2008. He is passionate about serving in whatever way the Lord leads him.
Ian’s background is in manufacturing electronics and power & communications cable making.
Ian’s interests are driving, preferably long distance or 4WD, golf and especially family.
Mariel Weeks - Office Manager
Mariel is our office manager. She manages to keep everything organised with a smile and great efficiency. Mariel is your first point of contact if you have a question or need help with something. She knows more about the Church than any two other people combined. Her hobbies are craft, gardening, reading and travelling. We hate it when she goes on holidays however.
