Chadd Hafer, has been involved in Christian ministry for about 20 years. He came to Springwood Baptist Church at the beginning of 2005, with his wife, Parisa, and his two children, Savannah and Noah.

Phil Irvine, Associate Pastor for Children, Junior Youth and their families

Phil and his wife Lis have been involved in Springwood Baptist Church for the past 10 years, they have had four children in that time Joshua, Hannah, Rachael and Gabrielle. Phil came to the church as the youth Pastor in 2000 and ministered in that role for 5 years. In July 2009 he was appointed as our Associate Pastor to Children, Junior Youth and their families. Phil has a passion for children to know Jesus in a real and living way and to trust him personally. “We learn so much about our faith through our kids and the Bible tells us that if we do not change and become like children we will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:4)

Travis Ryan, Associate Pastor for Youth and Young Adults

Travis began his ministry at Springwood Baptist at the start of 2009. With responsibility for the youth, young adult and 7pm evening service ministries Travis manages only by the grace of God and frequent caffination stops at the local shops! As an avid anti-apathy campaigner, Travis' main goal is to lead those under his care towards a deep, genuine and abiding faith in Christ Jesus that is passionately lived out in radical obedience as Christ's ambassadors in this world.

'And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him' Col 3.17

Peter Kilkeary. part-time pastor to seniors

Peter commenced his work with us this year. His primary duties are overseeing our 8:30 am service and providing pastoral care to the senior members of our church. Peter can be contacted through our church office on 4751 3744.
