Psalm 96 Reflection

Unlike the 1969 Coca Cola ad campagin ('I'd Like To Teach The World to Sing') Psalm 96 was written to be sung not by choir of youths spread across a hillside, but by a choir of nations spread across the whole earth. The lyrics of King David’s song urge this great world-wide choir to harmoniously lift their voices to heaven saying,
‘Sing to the Lord a new song; Sing to the Lord all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.'
